The Wetumpka Municipal Court exercises jurisdiction over all prosecutions for violations of municipal ordinances occurring within the city limits and police jurisdiction of the City of Wetumpka.  Additionally, the Wetumpka Municipal Court exercises jurisdiction over misdemeanor violations of state law.  The Wetumpka Municipal Court does not have jurisdiction over felony or civil cases.
